Reimbursement Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Reimbursement Accountant.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze financial and statistical data for reimbursement reports and ensure accuracy
• Assist with third-party cost report audits and reconcile revenue between financial reports and third-party reports
• Prepare interim cost reports and provide reimbursement rate information to enhance financial calculations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or Master's Degree in Business Administration preferred
• Two to four years of experience in finance, preferably in healthcare
• Knowledge of federal and state laws affecting healthcare providers
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis methods in healthcare
• Experience with Microsoft Office and data extraction software
