Reimbursement Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Reimbursement Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Obtain and maintain supporting documents for reimbursement from government agencies and insurance companies
• Verify accuracy of documentation and ensure timely delivery of physician orders and Certificates of Medical Necessity
• Research and respond to overdue accounts, resolving issues in a timely manner

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge
• 2-3 years of experience in patient accounts, pharmacy, or equipment intake
• Thorough understanding of regulatory and accreditation requirements for medical equipment
• Ability to keep detailed records and prioritize daily work
• Proficiency with computers and office software
