Reimbursement Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Reimbursement Specialist to manage patient billing and collections in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect third-party payor accounts and ensure proper follow-up on the revenue cycle
• Maintain and update documentation to assist the Intake Team with insurance policies and limitations
• Field and troubleshoot patient inquiries regarding benefits, claims, and balances

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2-3 years of experience in electronic claims submission and medical collections preferred
• Working knowledge of insurance plans, including Medicare and Medicaid
• Industry experience with billing/collections in DME, home infusion, and/or enteral preferred
• Knowledge of CPR+ and/or Caretend software preferred
