Reimbursement Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Reimbursement Representative.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and reconcile outstanding Medicare/Commercial patient balances
• Resolve electronic claim rejections and denials in a timely manner
• Follow up on unpaid account balances and assist with claim appeals as necessary

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required
• At least two years of experience in a health/medical billing and collection office
• Proficiency in medical billing software and advanced knowledge of medical terminology
• In-depth knowledge of CPT, ICD-9, and HCPCS coding
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
