Reimbursement Specialist

Job Summary

Seeking a detail-oriented Reimbursement Specialist for a full-time hybrid role in New Providence, NJ, who will manage patient billing and collections, ensuring compliance with insurance data collection and authorization processes in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage collections of third-party payor accounts and ensure proper follow-up on all aspects of the revenue cycle
• Maintain and update documentation to assist the Intake Team with insurance policies and limitations
• Collaborate with department staff to resolve billing issues and assist with end-of-month processes

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2-3 years of experience in electronic claims submission and medical collections preferred
• Working knowledge of insurance plans, including Medicare and Medicaid
• Industry experience with billing/collections in DME, home infusion, and/or enteral preferred
• Knowledge of CPR+ and/or Caretend software preferred
