Reimbursement Specialist

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Reimbursement Specialist will manage cash reconciliation, variance reporting, and third-party billing support while collaborating with internal teams to enhance revenue processes.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate payment variances in Epic against payer contracts to identify underpayments or overpayments
• Conduct data analysis to resolve errors in billing and managed care contracting efforts
• Serve as a liaison to internal and external teams to mitigate revenue leakage and improve reimbursement processes

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent, required
• Three (3) years of experience in revenue cycle insurance follow-up or denial management, required
• Associate's degree, preferred
• Three (3) years of experience in a complex invoice/billing/reconciliation environment, preferred
• Extensive knowledge of managed care contract interpretation
