Reimbursement Specialist

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Reimbursement Specialist to work remotely, who will manage payment postings from Non-Medicare and other payers, validate insurance payments, and assist with month-end reconciliations while ensuring accuracy and compliance with billing requirements.

Key responsibilities:

• Post payments received from Non-Medicare and other payers across multiple clients and EMRs
• Review EOBs for payment errors, denials, and low reimbursements, and communicate findings to the collections team
• Perform month-end reconciliations and generate self-pay invoices as needed

Required qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of cash posting experience, preferably with Commercial and Non-Medicare payers
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
• Experience with multiple EMR systems and obtaining Remits and EOBs from portals like Waystar
• High School Diploma required; basic math skills necessary
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
