Reimbursement Specialist

Job Summary

Seeking a detail-oriented Reimbursement Specialist for a full-time hybrid position in New Providence, NJ, responsible for patient billing and collections, insurance data management, and ensuring compliance with company policies throughout the reimbursement process.

Key responsibilities

• Manage collections for third-party payor accounts and ensure proper follow-up on all aspects of the revenue cycle
• Maintain and update documentation to assist the Intake Team with insurance policies, rules, and limitations
• Collaborate with department staff to resolve billing issues and assist with end-of-month processes

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2-3 years of experience in electronic claims submission and medical collections preferred
• Working knowledge of insurance plans, including Medicare and Medicaid
• Experience in billing/collections within DME, home infusion, and/or enteral preferred
• Familiarity with CPR+ and/or Caretend software preferred
