Job Summary
Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Reimbursement Specialist will ensure accurate government reimbursement calculations, perform zero balance reviews of underpaid accounts, and audit Managed Care contracts while collaborating with various departments to resolve payment issues.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure accurate government reimbursement calculations and stay updated on reimbursement policies and regulations
- Perform zero balance reviews of underpaid accounts to minimize vendor spend and maximize reimbursement
- Audit and update Managed Care contracts while tracking and resolving payment variance trends
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
- 3+ years of experience with hospital reimbursement methodologies and billing, including CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding
- 3+ years of experience analyzing complex financial data and reimbursement trends
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work full-time, Monday to Friday, with flexibility in shift scheduling
