Job Summary

A company is looking for a Reinsurance Accountant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, record, analyze, and report reinsurance accounting transactions ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Administer reinsurance treaties, including cash settlements and data validation
  • Conduct quality assurance checks on General Ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies
Required Qualifications
  • 3-5+ years of experience in finance related to reinsurance accounting
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • CPA preferred
  • Experience with internal controls and SOX compliance
  • Ability to collaborate with auditors and third-party reinsurers
