Job Summary
A company is looking for a Reinsurance Accountant.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, record, analyze, and report reinsurance accounting transactions ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Administer reinsurance treaties, including cash settlements and data validation
- Conduct quality assurance checks on General Ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies
Required Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of experience in finance related to reinsurance accounting
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- CPA preferred
- Experience with internal controls and SOX compliance
- Ability to collaborate with auditors and third-party reinsurers
