Job Summary

A company is looking for a Reinsurance Accounting Manager to oversee accounting operations and ensure compliance in reinsurance activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily reinsurance accounting operations and ensure timely completion of financial closing activities
• Review calculations, settlements, and journal entries for accuracy and compliance
• Manage and mentor team members, promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred
• 10+ years of insurance accounting experience with 5+ years in reinsurance accounting
• 3-5 years of supervisory or leadership experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP and statutory accounting principles
