Job Summary

A company is looking for a Reinsurance Analyst.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and submit excess loss claims to reinsurance carriers, ensuring compliance with guidelines
• Analyze claims data and monitor high dollar claims to ensure prompt reimbursement
• Assist in the documentation of policies and procedures while mentoring new analysts

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with three to five years of experience in the insurance/reinsurance industry
• Knowledge of reinsurance principles, practices, and medical coding
• Experience with complex claims, including stop-loss and catastrophic claims
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and business-related software
• Working knowledge of ERISA claims processing guidelines
