Reinsurance Business Analyst

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract-to-hire basis, the Reinsurance Business Analyst will engage in full lifecycle business analysis within the insurance reinsurance domain, capturing and documenting requirements while facilitating collaboration between IT and business units.

Key responsibilities

• Capture, analyze, and document comprehensive business and user requirements
• Facilitate meetings with IT and business unit management to gather insights and ensure requirements are met
• Perform business process analysis and support the execution of project plans and deliverables

Required qualifications

• 5-7+ years of hands-on Business Analyst experience
• Experience within Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance, including underwriting, claims, and policy lifecycle
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field
• Strong experience with Agile and/or hybrid delivery approaches
• Familiarity with APIs, data integrations, and regulatory considerations in insurance
