Reinsurance Business Analyst

Job Summary

Supporting a 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity, the remote Reinsurance Business Analyst will engage in the full lifecycle of business analysis activities within the insurance reinsurance domain, focusing on capturing and documenting business and user requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Capture, analyze, and document comprehensive business and user requirements
• Facilitate meetings with IT and business unit management to gather insights and ensure requirements are understood
• Perform business process analysis and partner with testing teams to assist in testing strategy formulation and execution

Required qualifications

• 5-7+ years of hands-on Business Analyst experience
• Experience in Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance, including underwriting, claims, and policy lifecycle
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field
• Strong experience with Agile and/or hybrid delivery approaches
• Familiarity with APIs, data integrations, and regulatory considerations in insurance
