Reinsurance Consultant

Job Summary

Providing strategic and operational leadership for the assumed reinsurance portfolio, the full-time Consultant, Assumed Portfolio Enablement will negotiate and execute reinsurance arrangements, ensuring compliance and operational excellence while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Drives the design, evaluation, and negotiation of assumed reinsurance contracts
• Leads contract review meetings with cross-functional teams and external partners
• Researches and analyzes complex regulatory, contractual, and operational issues related to reinsurance

Required qualifications:

• Undergraduate studies in business administration, finance, accounting, or a related field preferred
• Eight or more years of experience in reinsurance, insurance, or related risk transfer roles
• Pursuit or attainment of insurance-related designations such as CPCU, CLU, ARM, ARe preferred
• Strong understanding of reinsurance contract language and negotiation
• Project management experience is preferred
