Reinsurance & Loss Trends Analyst
Job Summary
To support a growing analytical team, the full-time Reinsurance & Loss Trends Analyst will deliver insights that drive reinsurance strategy, monitor loss trends, and enhance financial performance, working either remotely or in a hybrid capacity from Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze and validate large datasets to identify performance drivers and emerging trends
- Design and maintain Power BI dashboards to monitor key performance indicators and reinsurance metrics
- Review reinsurance contracts for compliance and conduct analyses to support decision-making
Required qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in an analytical, financial, risk management, or related role
- Advanced proficiency with SQL and experience with large datasets
- Experience using business intelligence tools, particularly Power BI
- Working knowledge of Python, R, or advanced Excel
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage complex data analyses independently
