Reinsurance Operations Specialist

Job Summary

Supporting the execution and operational management of assumed reinsurance activities, the full-time remote Reinsurance Operations Specialist will assist in contract intake, treaty documentation, compliance, and collaboration with key internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor renewal timelines and ensure timely communication with internal stakeholders
• Maintain Firm Order Terms (FOT) Intake and Geneva Working Group agendas for prompt risk review
• Collaborate with Underwriting and Reinsurance Placement to assess and communicate Geneva-related needs

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Risk Management, Insurance, or a related field
• 5 or more years of experience in insurance or reinsurance operations, accounting, or compliance
• Familiarity with treaty and facultative reinsurance concepts
• Interest in pursuing ARe (Associate in Reinsurance) certification
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Teams, and SharePoint
