Relay Settings Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Relay Settings and System Protection Senior Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and coordinate protective relay systems and develop protection schemes for various energy sources
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to other engineers, presenting solutions to clients and addressing technical concerns
• Perform analysis, testing, and ensure compliance with industry standards while developing relay settings and NERC PRC compliance materials

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university
• Professional Engineering registration or plan to become registered within one year
• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in power system protection and controls engineering
• Experience with system modeling and fault analysis software, and strong knowledge of relay coordination studies
• Familiarity with NERC PRC standards for compliance and strong analytical skills
