Release Automation Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the engineering of the release pipeline, the full-time Release Automation Engineer will design, build, and enhance automated systems for deploying code from development to production, leveraging AI to improve pipeline efficiency and reliability in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain CI/CD pipeline infrastructure in Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions, ensuring reliable and efficient artifact promotion
• Engineer automated release workflows with integrated quality gates, rollback capabilities, and feature flag management for seamless deployments
• Utilize AI tools to enhance pipeline engineering, analyze failure patterns, and maintain documentation, driving continuous improvement in release processes

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Professional experience in CI/CD pipeline engineering or release automation
• Hands-on expertise with Azure DevOps Pipelines and GitHub Actions
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or AWS CDK
