Release & Deployment Manager

Job Summary

To support one of the nation's largest federal healthcare modernization initiatives, the full-time remote Release & Deployment Manager will lead the planning, coordination, and execution of enterprise software releases, ensuring secure and reliable healthcare technology solutions for Veterans.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage enterprise release strategies, deployment schedules, and implementation plans across multiple project workstreams
• Coordinate software releases with engineering, infrastructure, cybersecurity, testing, cloud operations, and Government stakeholders
• Lead release planning meetings and manage production deployment activities, including cutover planning and post-deployment validation

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline
• Five (5) years of experience managing enterprise software releases and deployments
• Experience coordinating production releases in complex IT environments
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, SAFe, DevSecOps, CI/CD, or hybrid software development methodologies
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, ServiceNow, Git, Jenkins, or similar tools
