Release Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the delivery pipelines and release lifecycle for Acra, the full-time hybrid Release Engineer will build and maintain secure build systems, enforce software supply chain security, and automate infrastructure-as-code to ensure reliable and compliant software deployment across various environments.

Key responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines and release engineering tooling for the Acra platform stack across multiple environments
• Design reproducible, self-contained release artifacts capable of deploying into environments with zero internet connectivity
• Implement cryptographic signing and automated vulnerability gating across all build pipelines to ensure software supply chain security

Required qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience in Release Engineering, DevOps, Platform Engineering, or SRE with a focus on secure software delivery pipelines
• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes orchestration, Helm, and cloud-native infrastructure automation
• Demonstrated experience packaging and releasing software for complex, non-SaaS deployment environments
• Solid understanding of build integrity concepts, artifact signing, and vulnerability scanning
• Proven experience designing enterprise pipelines with robust testing and rollback mechanisms
