Release Engineering Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Release Engineering Manager to oversee the release process and ensure high-quality software deployments.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the release process for key components, ensuring safe and timely deployments
• Automate release workflows and implement observability metrics to enhance reliability
• Plan and manage release activities in collaboration with Engineering, QA/QE, and Productivity teams

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in release engineering and management
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Continuous Delivery (CD)
• Expertise with CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and cloud-native micro-services
• Scripting experience in Python, Bash, or similar for automation purposes
