Release Manager / Scrum Master

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Release Manager / Scrum Master to support Agile delivery and release leadership for the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate Agile delivery for enhancements and fixes, ensuring user stories and acceptance criteria are clearly defined
• Coordinate with stakeholders to prioritize work, remove impediments, and ensure successful sprint and release outcomes
• Lead end-to-end release planning and execution, ensuring releases meet documented requirements and operational stability is validated

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4 years equivalent experience in lieu of a degree
• 7+ years of relevant IT delivery experience, including Agile/Scrum execution and release management
• 1+ years of experience in a formal delivery leadership capacity aligned to a Level 4 Project Manager
• Demonstrated ability to manage configuration/change activities and track change requests
• Proficiency with delivery and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira/Azure DevOps, Confluence/SharePoint)
