Release of Information Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Specialist II, Release of Information Operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Process, log, and respond to inbound medical record requests from various requesters
• Review and validate request documents for compliance with regulations and privacy laws
• Communicate with clients and requesters to clarify information and provide status updates

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Release of Information or medical records management
• Health information management education and/or credentials are a plus
• Proficient in navigating EMRs and other relevant systems
• Experience in mental/behavioral health and/or tech is a plus
• Ability to work collaboratively and adapt in a team environment
