Job Summary
Working remotely, the full-time Release Readiness Engineer will develop and maintain operator- and administrator-facing documentation for UDS capabilities, collaborating with Product, Engineering, and Delivery teams to create clear guidance for Warfighters and system administrators.
Key responsibilities:
- Plan, author, and maintain installation guides, admin/operator guides, and troubleshooting runbooks aligned with product releases
- Create step-by-step installation and configuration guides, including prerequisites and verification steps
- Document operational workflows and curate troubleshooting guides for complex systems in constrained environments
Required qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience writing technical documentation for software platforms, preferably in DevSecOps or Kubernetes-adjacent systems
- Proven ability to produce installation guides, administrator manuals, and troubleshooting runbooks
- Experience in environments with operational rigor, such as airgapped or regulated contexts
- Strong collaboration skills with engineering and delivery teams
- Proficiency in Git-based documentation workflows and modern documentation tools
