Job Summary
Leading the Agile Release Train for a large federal project, the full-time Release Train Engineer / DevOps Systems Lead will manage cross-functional teams in a 100% remote environment, focusing on CI/CD pipelines, build automation, and platform operations while ensuring high-quality delivery across multiple Agile teams.
Key responsibilities:
- Facilitate key SAFe ceremonies and coach teams on SAFe principles and continuous improvement practices
- Drive program-level execution, tracking progress toward PI objectives and managing risks and dependencies
- Lead the DevOps Systems Team, prioritizing the backlog to balance feature delivery and platform reliability
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in large-scale software delivery, with at least 3 years in an RTE or similar leadership role in a SAFe environment
- Demonstrated experience leading an Agile Release Train using the SAFe framework
- Strong understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms such as AWS
- Proven ability to facilitate large-scale planning events and manage cross-team dependencies
