Release Train Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Release Train Engineer to work remotely in a full-time capacity, the successful candidate will serve as a servant leader and facilitator for Agile Release Trains, coordinating multiple teams, managing cross-team dependencies, and driving predictable delivery of program outcomes within the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the Release Train Engineer, enabling Agile teams to deliver value predictably using SAFe principles
• Plan and facilitate Program Increment (PI) Planning and ART-level ceremonies, ensuring alignment across teams
• Identify and resolve cross-team dependencies, impediments, and risks while promoting Lean-Agile values and continuous improvement

Required qualifications

• Strong knowledge of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and Agile methodologies
• Proven experience in program/project management and facilitation within an Agile environment
• Ability to coach teams and stakeholders on Agile practices and effective participation in ART events
• Experience with Agile lifecycle management tools such as Jira, Rally, or Azure DevOps
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to foster a high-trust, collaborative culture
