Job Summary

To support the Hardware Reliability Engineering team, the full-time Reliability Engineer will execute reliability tests on Main Logic Boards, conduct failure analysis, and provide design recommendations to enhance product reliability, primarily in a remote work environment with a preference for candidates based in Austin, TX.

Key responsibilities
  • Develop and execute detailed test plans while compiling test and failure data
  • Perform statistical data analysis to assess risks associated with product designs
  • Conduct extensive FMEA research on new technologies and provide design recommendations to improve reliability
Required qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in reliability testing, including Mechanical Stress Tests and Environmental Tests
  • In-depth understanding of failure analysis techniques such as Optical Microscopy and X-Ray
  • Knowledge of JEDEC/IPC standards for semiconductor package qualifications
  • Master's or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field
  • Experience with semiconductor packages or consumer electronics is a plus
