Job Summary
To enhance product reliability, the full-time Reliability Engineer will execute reliability tests on Main Logic Boards, perform failure analysis, and provide design recommendations, with the flexibility to work onsite or remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute detailed test plans while compiling test and failure data
- Conduct statistical data analysis to assess risks associated with product designs
- Research failure modes and perform extensive FMEA for new technologies
Required qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in reliability testing, including Mechanical Stress Tests and Environmental Tests
- In-depth understanding of failure analysis techniques such as Optical Microscopy and X-Ray
- Knowledge of JEDEC/IPC standards for semiconductor package qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field; Master's or PhD preferred
- Strong statistical and data analysis skills, preferably using Matlab, Python, or R
