Relocation Consultant

Job Summary

Delivering high-touch, client-facing relocation services as a 1099 Contractor, the Relocation Consultant will provide tailored guidance and support for employees and their families transitioning to Chicago, working both remotely and in-person based on client needs.

Key responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships with relocating employees by understanding their needs and preferences
• Conduct housing and school research, providing insights on neighborhoods and local lifestyle considerations
• Manage multiple client engagements independently, ensuring organization and follow-through on service delivery

Required qualifications

• At least 5 years of residency in Chicago with extensive knowledge of the local rental market and education system
• Legal right to work in the United States
• Ownership of a reliable, registered, and insured 4-door vehicle with a valid driver's license
• Bachelor's or Associate's degree (or equivalent) preferred
• Experience in a client-facing, service-oriented role, preferably in relocation or real estate
