Job Summary

A publishing company needs applicants for an opening for a Rem Corporate Legal Counsel.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Supporting and facilitating assigned legal activities
  • Reviewing, negotiating, drafting, and revising a broad range of contracts
  • Advising on matters pertaining to piracy, counterfeiting and unauthorized postings of published content

Required Skills:

  • Juris Doctor Degree and licensed to practice law within the State of California
  • Or qualification as registered in-house counsel
  • At least 5 years of active experience in applicable areas in a corporate legal department or law firm
  • High level of competence required with Westlaw and/or other research tools
  • Proficiency with business software including MS Word (redlining), PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook
