Job Summary
A provider of online education has an open position for a Remote 2018 to 2019 Middle School General Education Teacher.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Developing effective instructional tools, lessons, and strategies to deliver core content
- Providing synchronous direct instruction through instructional technology
- Conducting progress conferences to assess each student’s learning, progress, and learning style
Position Requirements Include:
- Attend regularly scheduled face-to-face professional development days 4-5 times per year
- Bachelor’s degree with appropriate state certification and 3+ years of teaching experience
- Shared view of the virtual academy’s mission
- Strong content and subject-matter knowledge
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and Outlook, and experience using them in a professional capbility
