Job Summary

An online school has a current position open for a Remote 2018 to 2019 School Year Elementary Substitute Teacher.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Completing all grading, create report cards and conduct parent conferences in a timely and manner
• Supporting the instructional program with asynchronous web conferencing sessions
• Communicating regularly with parents, students, and curriculum specialists through use of computer and telephone

Qualifications Include:

• Ability to complete required orientation and training programs upon hire and at the beginning of each school year
• Valid Elementary teacher certification in Texas
• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• Strong technology skills (especially with Microsoft OS and MS Office programs)
• Must be available Monday – Friday during normal business hours
• Ability to work some occasional evening hours, as needed to support some families
