Job Summary
An online education provider has a current position open for a Remote 2018 to 2019 School Year School Counselor.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Advising students and families related to academics, career planning and graduation
- Assisting students and parents with the secondary school course selection process
- Reviewing student transcripts and the entry of credits into the online transcript system
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Willingness to travel on occasion for marketing and state testing events (may require occasional overnight travel)
- Florida Professional Teacher Certification in Guidance and Counseling
- ESOL Certification or Endorsement required
- Knowledge of and experience with RtI/MTSS
- Strong technology skills (especially with Microsoft Office products)
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
