Job Summary
An educational services provider is seeking a Remote 3rd Through 8th Grade Dyslexia Specialist.
Must be able to:
- Apply knowledge of the interrelated components of reading across all developmental stages of oral and written language
- Use expertise in implementing, modeling, and providing integrated literacy assessment and instruction
- Collaborate with general education teachers and administrators to provide dyslexia accommodations
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Must have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited College or University, preferably in the area of Special Education.
- Valid grade level or content area certification required for select positions
- Dyslexia Certification preferred but not required
- A passion for students, especially students with reading disorders
- Ability and patience to work interactively with students
- All other requirements necessary for this position
