Job Summary

An online teacher has an open position for a Remote 6 Through 8 Social Studies Teacher.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Prepare students for high stakes standardized tests
  • Take ownership of students’ academic progress and attendance
  • Conduct live synchronous teaching

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • Ability to travel on average once per month and/or approximately 10% of the time
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 6 months of student teaching experience
  • Meet requirements for Highly Qualified Teacher in subject area under No Child Left Behind
