Job Summary
A staffing and recruitment agency is filling a position for a Remote Ab Initio Developer in Reston.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Design and Build a CDC pipeline to move the data from AIX/DB2 databases into Cloudera Hadoop platform
- Work with Business Analysts and Product team to gather data requirements
- Transform the data to create a consumable data layer for various application uses
Skills and Requirements Include:
- While the role will start remote, there is the expectation that this person will be local to the Northern, VA area
- Must have 4 years of ETL Design and Development experience using Ab Initio
- Total of 7+ Years of IT Experience predominantly in Data Integration/ Data Warehouse area
- 1-2 years of Data Integration project experience on Hadoop Platform, preferably Cloudera
- Working knowledge of HDFS, Hive, Impala and other related Hadoop technologies
