Job Summary
An online college is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Academic Advisor.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Assisting students to take and score self-administered vocational interest and aptitude tests
- Providing academic advisement, career information and guidance activities
- Scheduling virtual appointments with school guidance and counseling staff for students
Position Requirements Include:
- Two (2) years of advising experience in a college or university
- Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university
- One year experience advising and/or teaching online
- Knowledge of career interest inventory testing procedures and outcomes
- Experience working with computerized systems
- Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software
