Job Summary

A higher education provider is searching for a person to fill their position for a Online Academic Advisor and Outreach Specialist.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Provide developmental advising to new and returning students
• assist students to integrate their personal, career and educational goals
• Advise students during New Student Registration events via Zoom

Required Skills:

• Bachelors degree
• Strong knowledge of the principles and practices of developmental academic advising
• Knowledge of general financial aid practices and appropriate federal and state policies and programs
• Able to work evenings and weekends during peak registration periods
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively interact with people of diverse backgrounds
