Job Summary
A research company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Academic and Scientific Research Segment Sales Manager.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Creating and implementing a strategic and tactical sales plan for the assigned segment
- Conducting face-face-meetings and attending conferences
- Advising senior management on developments within the marketplace
Qualifications for this position include:
- Ability to travel to client sites, sometimes overnight or on weekends
- Bachelors Degree
- 5+ years sales and sales management experience
- Experience selling to high levels within Academic and Scientific Research Institutes
- Proven sales track record and evidence of networking activities
- Proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with clients
