Job Summary
A not-for-profit higher education institution is filling a position for a Remote Academic Coach.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Supporting dispositional and learning skills development at the Graduate and Undergraduate levels
- Participating in learning resource-building as needed; for example, creation of tutorial videos, static handouts, workshops, online interactives, etc
- Working with groups of students through dedicated small groups that foster learning through peer collaboration, social-emotional learning environments, and confidence-building
Position Requirements Include:
- Master’s degree
- Minimum 1 year of experience tutoring or teaching at the collegiate level
- Excellent communication skills
- Great interpersonal skills
