Remote Academic Instructor

Job Summary

Proactively engaging with learners, the full-time Remote Academic Instructor will provide high-quality coaching and mentoring in Intro to Business, develop remediation materials, and host individual and group sessions to support struggling students.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a library of written and video resources to assist struggling learners
• Analyze student data to identify areas of struggle and recommend targeted resources
• Tutor students individually and in groups while responding promptly to inquiries

Required qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant discipline or professional certification, with a terminal degree preferred
• At least 3 years of successful experience teaching adult or nontraditional students at the college level
• Proficient in technology and capable of creating educational video and written resources
• Strong advocate for growth mindset theory and dedicated to maximizing student potential
• Outstanding ability to provide personalized feedback and manage competing priorities
