Remote Academic Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a part-time remote Academic Specialist focused on humanities and multiple subjects, with a preference for Mandarin speakers.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach high school and early-college humanities courses, including AP subjects
• Provide academic support and instruction to international students
• Adapt teaching methods to accommodate various learning levels and preferences

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher from a top 30 US or Canadian college or university
• Strong interest in teaching and supporting international students
• Teaching experience at the high school or college level is preferred
• Tutoring experience may substitute for classroom teaching experience
• Familiarity with AP curricula is advantageous
