Job Summary

To support a diverse range of students, the part-time Remote Academic Specialist will teach humanities-focused high school and early-college courses, prioritizing candidates who can cover multiple subjects up to AP level and preferably speak Mandarin.

Key responsibilities

• Instruct students in various humanities subjects, including English, social studies, and introductory college courses
• Provide flexible, remote teaching services for 8-20 hours per week, accommodating weekday and weekend schedules
• Engage with international students and adapt teaching methods to support their learning needs

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher from a top 30 US or Canadian college or university
• Strong interest in teaching and supporting international students across varied levels
• Ability to cover multiple subjects, including AP courses
• Familiarity with online learning platforms
