Job Summary

To support a diverse range of learners, the part-time Remote Academic Specialist - Humanities will teach high school and early-college humanities courses, with a preference for candidates who can cover multiple subjects up to AP level and are Mandarin speaking.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging instruction in various humanities subjects, including literature, history, and philosophy
• Support international students through tailored academic counseling and guided study sessions
• Manage a flexible schedule, selecting preferred teaching hours during weekday afternoons/evenings and weekends

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher from a top 30 US or Canadian college or university
• Strong interest in teaching and supporting international students across varied levels
• Ability to teach multiple subjects, preferably including AP courses
• Experience with online learning platforms
