Job Summary
A staffing agency is filling a position for a Remote Accessibility Specialist in Charlotte.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Identifying potential accessibility issues and recommend best practices
- Participating in design reviews and perform accessibility reviews of User Experience team's deliverables
- Identifying design direction that requires further accessibility research
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Understand UCD and UX as well as coding and implementation of standards
- 5+ years of web accessibility analysis, design and testing experience
- Experience with accessible e-document creation, e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and PDF
- Experience reviewing design output
- B.S. or Masters Degree in information technology, human computer interaction, B.A. in Journalism, or related field considered an advantage or equivalent
