Remote Account Receivables Specialist III

Job Summary

A provider of healthcare revenue cycle management services needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Account Receivables Specialist III.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Verifying or obtaining patient eligibility and/or authorization for healthcare services
• Updating patient demographics and/or insurance information in appropriate systems
• Conducting research and appropriately statuses unpaid or denied claims

Qualifications Include:

• Able to monitor claims for missing information, authorization and control numbers
• Able to research EOBs for payments or adjustments to resolve claims
• Able to contact payers by phone or through written correspondence to secure payment of claims
• Able to access client systems for information regarding received payments, open claims and other data necessary to resolve claims
• Able to follow guidelines for prioritization, timely filing deadlines, and notation protocols within appropriate systems
• Able to secure medical documentation as required or requested by third party insurance carriers
