Remote Accountant

Job Summary

Seeking a detail-oriented Accountant for a fully remote, 7+ month contract position who will develop and maintain accounting systems, monitor project revenues and expenditures, and ensure compliance with accounting regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accounting systems including journal entries, general ledger, and accounts payable/receivable
• Monitor and create monthly financial reports for project revenues and expenditures
• Review and maintain asset information in financial systems to ensure accuracy and compliance with US GAAP

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting; CPA and/or Master's Level degree preferred
• 3-4 years of relevant experience in General Accounting, with a focus on Capital and Fixed Assets
• Experience with Oracle Fusion
• Strong understanding of accounting principles
• Familiarity with assets, P&L, and balance sheets
