Remote Accountant

Job Summary

Assisting in the development and maintenance of accurate financial information, the full-time Remote Accountant will perform general ledger account analysis, reconciliations, and support financial statement preparation while adhering to regulatory requirements in a healthcare environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage general ledger account reconciliations and prepare monthly accounting entries in accordance with established timelines
• Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring timely implementation of audit recommendations and preparation of necessary documentation
• Support the preparation of tax returns and various financial reports, including community benefit reporting and sales tax reporting

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance
• Knowledge of US GAAP and experience in financial analysis and accounting issue research
• Preferred two years of accounting experience, with healthcare exposure being advantageous
• Familiarity with various computer accounting systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
