Remote Accountant

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Accountant will manage simple to intermediate accounting functions, including financial reporting and reconciliations, for specific facilities while utilizing systems such as Lawson and Excel.

Key responsibilities

• Input routine transactions into financial systems in compliance with statutory requirements and GAAP
• Compile data to prepare financial, statistical, and operational reports
• Perform reconciliations of bank accounts and other balance sheet accounts, ensuring accuracy and support

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• 0 - 2 years of relevant experience in accounting
• Proficiency in financial systems and spreadsheet applications
• Healthcare accounting experience preferred
• Ability to prioritize workload and produce accurate results under varying situations
